The Polish Superhot Team has launched a fund to support indie developers. Two games have already been funded from his funds.

The new fund is called Superhot Presence. Its purpose is to help developers who do not want to work with publishers or do not need them.

Superhot Presence is ready to offer both initial and final financing. He also promises to advise developers on business issues, writes Gamesindustry.biz . Superhot Presence plans to choose small teams for cooperation: from 1 to 3 people.

Nevertheless, it is still unknown what funds the fund has and what grants developers can count on. As noted by Callum Underwood, the head of the studio’s special projects, Superhot Presence plans to evaluate its capabilities in the coming year.

Also, according to him, the foundation will not help with distribution, promotion, or porting of games. “In our contracts (with developers), in fact, it says: here are our funds and our tips for creating your game, but all the main work will fall on you,” Underwood said. — Such conditions are not suitable for all developers, but we will not embellish the fact. We are a foundation, not a publisher.”

Let’s add that Superhot Presence has already funded the creation of indie games Knuckle Sandwich and Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard.

Superhot Studio is known for the game of the same name. It is noteworthy that the VR version of this title turned out to be more profitable than the original. By mid-April, the game for virtual reality devices had sold 800 thousand copies.

Superhot was created for fans. They were the ones who helped us with financing when the studio lacked it. Superhot Presence is our way to provide other developers with support, similar to which we received from our wonderful community.
