A mobile gaming company from Japan, Nepro Japan, has acquired the tri-Ace studio. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed, – the Gameindustry resource reports.biz with reference to the official press release.
Tri-Ace will create projects for smartphones. Nepro Japan will combine the capacities of the studio and its company Mobile & Game Studio to strengthen its position in the mobile gaming industry.
Tri-Ace was founded in 1995 and throughout its history has produced mainly titles for various consoles in the JRPG genre. She is best known for the Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile series of games.
