Scott Cawthon, creator of the Five Nights at Freddy’s horror game series, donated $249,999 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during a charity marathon.
The action during which Kevton donated money is called Play Live. It is the fruit of the joint efforts of the Twitch video game broadcasting service and St. Petersburg Hospital. Jude. Twitch users taking part in the campaign post information about the hospital under their game videos, thus helping to raise funds in its favor.
Note that in the case of Kevton, participation in the action seems natural. Before creating the Five Nights at Freddy’s series, he worked on scripts for Christian games and films for about three years.
