From January 23 to January 25, St. Petersburg will join the Global Game Jam game development marathon. The participants will be hosted by the local Wargaming office. The event is organized by NextCastle Party with the support of Unity.
Global Game Jam is an international event dedicated to high-speed game development. It takes place annually at the end of January and lasts 48 hours. Participants join groups and create games on a predetermined theme.
Themes, as a rule, are abstract and assume maximum freedom of creativity – it is necessary to put only a certain message into the game. The choice of genre, setting or platform is up to the participants.
This year, the organizers of the jam will announce the theme on 23.01.2015 at 17.00.
To take part in the St. Petersburg Global Game Jam 2015, you must:
- register on the GGJ website;
- specify Global Game Jam SPb as your site;
- fill out the questionnaire of the Global Game Jam SPb participant.
