Square Enix announced that it is going to revive old projects – including using mobile devices. This became known from the annual report of the Japanese company.
“We will take the IP that we developed for consoles of previous generations and recreate them on more modern consoles, and at the same time we will actively create versions of these projects for mobile devices,” Square Enix management reports.
The irony of the situation is that Square Enix not only does not abandon experiments within other lines (Lara Croft Go is a great example of this), but it is also not going to stop “milking its cow”, in the role of which the entire line of classic Final Fantasy parts acts.
In other words, if earlier the company simply ported cult projects to modern platforms, which, of course, include mobile gadgets, now it is going to recreate them, as we suspect, from scratch, taking into account the features of the platforms.
Is it worth swearing at, is it worth blaming? Definitely not, because fans of the series just dream about it.
