SciPlay Corporation is planning an initial public offering of its shares on the Nasdaq American stock exchange. The studio is a “daughter” of Scientific Games and develops social casinos and casual titles.

Scientific Games has filed an application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the release of its subsidiary studio for an IPO. It is not specified exactly how many shares of SciPlay will be placed and what the price range for them will be.
The studio is responsible for seven mobile games, including Jackpot Party Casino, Gold Fish Casino, Monopoly Slots. SciPlay plans to reach the global market by expanding its genre portfolio through puzzles and card titles.
As part of Scientific Games, SciPlay owns the rights to use images of Michael Jackson in its games, as well as characters from the James Bond franchise and The Godfather, Pocket Gamer writes.
Note that DAU Scientific Games has 2.6 million users, and MAU — 8.3 million. The company’s revenue last year amounted to $416 million, and the largest share of this amount was generated by mobile titles.
