Registration for the SmartMarket Cup: HTML5 Games has started — the first Sbera tournament for creating and porting HTML5 games. 1.5 million rubles will be divided between the winners.
Sber announced the start of the tournament in early October. Only developers from Russia will be able to participate in it.
What are the company’s requirements for games?
- It should be an HTML5 project.
- The game should be published on the SmartMarket Studio platform.
- Not only new games can participate in the tournament. Contestants are allowed to port ready-made titles.
- The game can be on any topic.
- You can also choose any control method: voice, remote control, text input, touch or virtual gamepad. But for the opportunity to play with the voice, “Sber” will award an additional point (only in one of the nominations).
Two nominations are planned within the framework of the tournament:
- The best game. The evaluation criteria will be the quality of gameplay and graphics, as well as the absence of bugs. Here you can get another score for voice control in the game;
- Active developer. The winner will be the developer who submits as many games as possible to the competition. Titles should differ in theme, plot and design.
The prize fund of the tournament is 1.5 million rubles, 750 thousand rubles in each category. For the first place they will give 350 thousand rubles, for the second — 250 thousand rubles, and for the third — 150 thousand rubles.
After registration, all HTML5 games created and ported before November 26, moderated and published on SmartMarket before November 30 will automatically participate in the tournament. However, in order to become a full-fledged participant, you must also register using the link.
The results of SmartMarket Cup: HTML5 Games will be announced after December 17. The jury of the competition included the heads of the departments of the Sbera ecosystem: SberDevices, SberGames, Championat.com .
