Samsung predicts that mobile devices will overtake the PS4 in terms of technical characteristics. This will happen by 2020. The company shared the information at its own Samsung Developer Conference in San Francisco.
According to company representatives, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is already more powerful than the Xbox 360 console. The evolution of devices will continue further – until the mobile surpasses the leading consoles in performance.
It should be noted here that console manufacturers are also not going to stand still. That is, by 2020, mobile devices will be equal in power with consoles in 2016, and not with modern devices. In other words, the company’s forecasts still do not allow that mobile will overtake consoles in the near future.
