An investigation is now underway into the Carnegie Investment Bank that sold Clint’s shares. According to the Swedish financial newspaper Dagens Industry, Starbreeze called the sale of securities a “forced measure”.

In December, employees of the department came to the Stockholm office of Starbreeze with a search. The police suspected two top managers of the company of insider trading: Sebastian Ahlskog and Bo Andersson Klint. The latter resigned immediately after the sale of securities. His resignation came amid financial turmoil at Starbreeze.

Recall that the company’s shares fell by 50% due to poor sales of Overkill’s The Walking Dead. Soon, Starbreeze announced a restructuring. It will last until mid-2019.
