In March last year, Dan Houser left the Rockstar Games company, which he and his brother headed for two decades. But perhaps he will continue to play video games. Documents about the registration of a new company, in which Hauser is listed as a director, surfaced on the web.

The company with the name Absurd Ventures in Games was registered on June 23 in the city of Altringham, Great Britain.
Interestingly, Oakwood Corporate Services, a firm providing accounting services for more than a thousand organizations with the same registration address, is located in the house at the same address. This means that as a result, the main office of Absurd Ventures in Games may open in a completely different place.
According to the documents, Absurd Ventures in Games will be engaged in “turnkey development of interactive software for leisure and entertainment.” This wording hints at video games, but so far it is impossible to say for sure.
Hauser left Rockstar Games after a long vacation. In the spring of 2019, he decided to take a break from creating games after exhausting work on the second part of Red Dead Redemption. In February 2020, Hauser announced his imminent departure from the company, and in March he finally quit. Immediately after the news of his departure, Rockstar Games shares sank by 6%.
Recall that Hauser was not only one of the founders of Rockstar Games, but also the lead screenwriter of all its games. Including GTA V.
