After the high-profile remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3, it is logical to expect a rethinking of the fourth part. And, according to media reports, the project is already being prepared for release in 2022. VGC writes about this with reference to informed sources.
The publication reports that a remake of the most highly rated numbered part of Resident Evil has been in the works since 2018. The studio M-Two, headed by Tatsuya Minami from Platinum Games, is responsible for its creation.
The studio opened in the same year 2018 and managed to work on Resident Evil 3, released on April 3. Probably, Resident Evil 4: Remake is also being developed with the involvement of internal Capcom teams and third-party studios.
The original Resident Evil 4 was released in 2005. In 15 years, it has sold 7.5 million copies on various platforms.
