The amount of the transaction between the company and the studio Noio, which includes the author of Kingdom Thomas van den Berg (Thomas van den Berg), has not been disclosed.

It is known that the latter plans to engage in new projects unrelated to Kingdom. In this regard, he sold the IP.

Gordon Van Dyke, one of the co—founders of Raw Fury and a former producer of Battlefield projects from EA DICE, will lead the development of the franchise. He had previously helped in the creation of the van den Berg series, writes Gamesindustry.biz .

As the second co-founder of Raw Fory, Jonas Antonsson, admitted: “Our current approach to cooperation with developers was formed precisely in partnership with Thomas. We usually work with small, very creative teams who may sometimes want to work on something new. We always support them in this <…> regardless of whether they cooperate with us in the future.”

We add that the studio has published the games Kathy Rain, Dandara and Bad North for three years of existence.

Indie strategy Kingdom is very successful, to date it has sold 4 million copies. After her, two more games were released in the series, also commercially successful: the reissue of Kingdom: New Lands with new content and a full-fledged sequel to Kingdom: Two Crowns. How the franchise will continue to develop, Raw Fury promises to tell in detail in the near future.
