According to EA representatives, PvZ 2 has already been downloaded more than 25 million times, which exceeds the total number of downloads of the first part in the entire history of its existence.
Electronic Arts announced this on the pages of its official blog.
Recall that just a couple of weeks ago, the company announced that PvZ 2 downloads exceeded 16 million, indicating that this is “the most successful release of the game” in EA history.
So far, the title is available only to iOS users and will be ported to other platforms this year.
Plants vs. Zombies 2 has strengthened EA’s position on the App Store. In addition to the creation of PopCap, the No. 1 publisher in the iOS gaming market earns well on The Simpsons: Tapped Out and Real Racing 3, which has 45 million downloads.
