There were only 300 thousand legal downloads. Of these, 72.9% are on PC and 27.1% are on mobile devices.

The ratio of purchases to pirated downloads is as follows: 1 to 4 on PC, 1 to 12 on Android and 1 to 2 on iOS. In other words, iOS users are the most law-abiding.

Brazil became the most “pirate” country.

Although at first, Russia led the illegal downloads. Brazilian pirates accounted for 42.8% of all illegal downloads. For Russia, this number was 18%, and for China – 15.3%. Brazilian pirates paid special attention to the game after Punch Club was localized for a local audience. Localization did not affect sales in the country.

Germany turned out to be the most law-abiding: 46% of users paid for the game, instead of “spiraling”. France is in second place. “We can say with confidence that localization into French and German has paid off. Although in terms of total numbers, this is nothing,” tinyBuild noted.

“Looking back, I think that it was not necessary to give the opportunity for cross-platform saving after the launch. Then those who have discontinued the PC version would probably be more actively converted into buyers on mobile, and vice versa,” concluded tinyBuild CEO Alex Nichiporchik.
