Nordstrom will officially join Paradox in January.

The company expects that with the help of a manager from King, it will launch projects on mobile based on its own most famous IP – Crusader Kings, Europa Universalis, Cities: Skylines and Stellaris. These games will be given to third-party teams for development.

In addition, the PC publisher plans to launch an internal mobile studio.

“We have already started discussing with third-party studios the creation of mobile versions of our games, and now we are additionally looking for more studios and key employees who would join Kim’s team,” commented Frederick Wester, CEO of Paradox Interactive.

Nordstrom currently holds the position of vice president and managing director of the Malmo studio at King. Prior to that, he worked for MTG Modern Games, SCEA, SouthEnd Interactive and the Swedish branch of Bad Robot.
