Nikolay Drozdov introduced Russian players to the world of Anthem

The host of the TV show “In the World of animals” Nikolay Drozdov became a guide to the virtual world of Anthem. Electronic Arts and “M.The video” attracted a famous zoologist, whose voice is familiar to millions of Russians, to advertise a new game from BioWare.

The commercial featuring Drozdov was released today, on the day of the release of Anthem. The TV presenter talks in detail about the flora, fauna and natural anomalies of the planet Mirrus, where the game takes place, about Fort Tarsis — the gaming hub, and about battles with Titans bosses.

Judging by the comments to the video on YouTube, many people liked the ad. However, the game itself is mercilessly criticized by both players and the press. Even at the demo stage, Anthem was scolded for the abundance of bugs, endless downloads and crashes. Closer to the release, there were reports of a weak plot component, insufficient endgame content and a tedious grind.

Now the rating of the PC version of Anthem on Metacritic is 62 points. This is the lowest rated BioWare game. The previous title of the studio — Mass Effect: Andromeda, which was also criticized from all sides, has an average score of 72.
