Yesterday, December 4, the open beta testing of the MY.GAMES Store distribution platform started. It was announced in August.

Recall that MY.GAMES and third-party games will be exhibited on the site. The share of studio income is 70%, the remaining 30% will go to the store.

MY.GAMES Store has become available to users Games.My.com and parts of the audience Games.Mail.ru . By the end of the year, they can transfer their accounts to the new service.

It offers the following features:

  • game catalog. Now it features 11 games, all shareware. Most of them are MMO: Warface, Armored Warfare, “Allods Online”, etc.;
  • game client for downloading titles;
  • user profile;
  • a community of players where developers can publish news, polls and receive feedback;
  • a trading platform with in-game items from developers. It is integrated with the stream monetization service Donation Alerts;
  • Lootdog service for buying/selling virtual items for real currency. The developer receives 5% from each resale of the item through the service.

In the future, MY.GAMES promises to increase the game catalog to 300 projects, embed a messenger and social functions — gifts and achievements. Developers will also receive an analytics system for evaluating the success of projects on the site, tracking conversions and A/B tests.

Recall that the MY.GAMES Store team focused its product on the international market. Before that, the MY.GAMES game showcases were intended only for the Russian-speaking audience. Their total MAU eventually reached 13 million.
