Kongregate later confirmed, “We have made a difficult but necessary decision.” In an interview for Forbes, representatives of the company noted that the business was negatively affected not only by the departure from outdated Flash, but also by COVID-19. Kongregate also stated that now it “focuses” not only on internal development, but also on M&A transactions.
