The investment division of MY.GAMES has changed its name from Mail.ru Games Ventures on MY.GAMES Venture Capital (MGVC). This happened as part of the rebranding.MY.GAMES is part of Mail.ru Group and includes 12 internal development studios.
Here is how the MGVC head Ilya Karpinsky commented on the rebranding:
“We decided to rebrand our investment division and add MY.GAMES to its name. Thus, we would like to emphasize once again that all the studios that have joined become a full–fledged part of the brand’s large-scale ecosystem – they receive financial and expert support, as well as open access to all possible MY.GAMES resources.”
According to the company, over the past three years MGVC has processed more than 1,000 applications and closed 30 deals.
