In September last year, MicroProse, the publisher of the early Sid Meier’s Civilization and X—COM, was resurrected. Now the pages of three new titles of the company have been launched on Steam at once.

As MicroProse noted in September, it will focus on the release of strategies and simulators.

These genres include the new items: Second Front, Task Force Admiral and Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age. They don’t have release dates yet.

Earlier, MicroProse reported on the development of another military title — Warbirds 2020. The announcement of the game was planned for the beginning of the year, but it is not mentioned on the publisher’s website yet.

MicroProse was founded in 1982 by Sid Meier and Bill Stealy. After Meyer left for Firaxis Games, they tried to resell the company more than once. As a result, it closed, but 20 years later its IP was bought by David Lagetti and revived the publisher. He even managed to bring Bill Styles back to MicroProse.

MicroProse is best known as the publisher of the first two Civilization, the Master of Orion series, the fantasy strategy Master of Magic, the original X-COM and the Transport Tycoon franchise.
