nWay will give third-party developers access to its multiplayer platform, on the basis of which ChronoBlade and Power Rangers: Legacy Wars were created. With its help, you can develop real-time multiplayer titles.

The platform is called nWayPlay. The company plans to license it for small and medium-sized game studios so that they can develop multiplayer games faster and easier. nWayPlay supports:

  • scaling according to the number of users who came;
  • cross-platform features, including syncing accounts across platforms;
  • social functions;
  • creating leaderboards;
  • matchmaking with geo-distribution of players in more than 16 regions of the world (including China).

nWayPlay can be useful for creating battle royals, for which there is a special demand now. This opinion was expressed by the CEO of nWay Taehoon Kim (Taehoon Kim). He noted that Fortnite has greatly changed the main trends of the market.

Note that the flagship project of nWay, created on the basis of nWayPlay — Power Rangers: Legacy Wars — has collected 50 million downloads in two years.

According to VentureBeat, nWayPlay is currently undergoing alpha testing. The platform will be launched at the end of the year.
