In particular, she is responsible for the version of Divinity: Original Sin 2 for the Nintendo Switch.
Cooperation between the two companies does not mean the closure or disbandment of BlitWorks. Now the studio will be engaged in publishing activities, and its development team will work exclusively on Larian games.
Now Larian continues to work on Baldur’s Gate 3, which has been in early access since October last year. In addition to the office in Barcelona, the company has studios in Dublin, Ghent, Quebec, Kuala Lumpur, Guildford and St. Petersburg.
Barcelona remains one of the largest gaming cities in Europe. There are over 100 development studios, including Zeptolab (authors of Cut the Rope), and offices of large companies (Ubisoft, Paradox and others). In particular, IO Interactive in April chose Barcelona as the location for its new studio.
