Yesterday, in a comment for IGN, the company clarified that as part of the restructuring, it decided to consolidate the three divisions that existed before, it has no plans to stop working on games.
“The announcement made concerns internal restructuring, which includes the merger of production units. We have not “closed” our gaming divisions,“ a company representative told IGN.
Last year, Konami opened a division for publishing games by Western studios. Now the company is also developing a football simulator PES 2022 for a new generation of consoles.
