Two of the largest players in the mobile market, King and Supercell, have joined the Interactive Software Federation of Europe (ISFE). It is a regional trade association representing the interests of the software industry in Europe.
The developers expect that joining the federation will give them the opportunity to participate in discussions and influence a wide range of issues related to intellectual property, e-commerce, trade relations and age restrictions.
ISFE appeared 16 years ago. It includes 12 major publishers and 17 national associations, such as UKIE in Britain, MDTS in Sweden and FIGMA in Finland. It is very noteworthy that up to this point ISFE preferred publishers, and the developers themselves gathered under a different sign — the European Games Developer Federation (EGDF).
