The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

It is known that Gaea Mobile will receive the rights to Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North, The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth, Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs of the Dragon. All these games were released in 2011-2013. In total, the titles brought Kabam $ 100 million in revenue, and Kingdoms of Camelot remained one of the company’s highest-grossing projects for a long time.

The deal will be fully closed by mid-2016. The transfer of rights to games will not affect users in any way, according to representatives of both companies.

According to Kabam executives, the company chooses the same path that Supecell is following. Namely, it concentrates on the most profitable games. Kabam’s main projects will be Marvel Contest of Champions, Fast & Furious: Legacy, Star Wars: Uprising and Spirit Lords. The company expects the highest revenue from these titles.

Recall that Marvel Contest of Champions earned $ 100 million in the first seven months after launch.

Kabam promised to reduce the number of titles produced and make products of higher quality in April last year. This was stated in his own blog by Kevin Chou, CEO of Kabam.
