A third of the hyper-casual top 10 by the end of March was taken by hits from Supersonic Games. This is a mobile publisher created by the ironSource advertising network.

According to VentureBeat, only Supersonic Games has more than one position in this top. Her projects are side by side in the chart with the games of large hyper-casual companies: Lion Studios, Voodoo, SayGames. Each of them has only one game in the top 10.

All three of Supersonic’s top games are the only ones in its portfolio so far.

  • Sort It 3D (5.8 million installations) is a puzzle released just 10 days after Supersonic was created. Since the beginning of February, the game has entered the tops of the USA, Japan, South Korea and many European countries.

  • Ultimate Disc (3.2 million installs) is a game about sports disc throwing. The disc must be thrown from one virtual athlete to another until it reaches the edge of the field.

  • Join Clash 3D (1 million installations) — a mix of runner and fighting game. Instead of one character, as in most runners, there is a whole crowd running along the obstacle course. All levels end with a battle with an enemy squad.

The publisher launched these projects in a month and a half. Initially, Supersonic was going to release 5 games in the first year, but now it plans to revise its schedule and launch games more often.

ironSource started investing in games after its competitor AppLovin launched its own publisher Lion Studios. At the same time, AppLovin continues to grow in the mobile advertising market.

ironSource is confident that its “investments in new growth points” will not harm the core business.
