Last year, Microsoft began distributing Xbox One in installments. Now there is a similar program in Russia. It’s called Xbox Forward.
The player can sign a contract with the Forward Leasing operator and get a console. He will have to pay in installments for 25 months. The size of the subscription fee depends on the Xbox model:
- Xbox One S — 990 rubles per month;
- Xbox One X — 1,490 rubles per month.
The price immediately includes a subscription to Xbox Live Gold. Recall that it allows you to play in multiplayer, and also provides access to a monthly free title. But note that the Russian initiative does not include a subscription to the Xbox Game Pass service with game novelties (unlike the Western one).
After 25 months of payments, the console will become the player’s property. If desired, he can redeem the console even earlier by paying the remaining amount.
If the user wants to return the console before the end of the subscription, he will have to pay a “small fee”. Currently, consoles are returned in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Moscow, Omsk, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara and Chelyabinsk. By the end of April, this service will be available in 50 cities of the country.
