The US Secretary of State posted an ad on her own website mentioning the game. Voters are invited to a meeting on June 16 in Madison Park (Ohio), where participants “will receive free Pokemon and will be able to fight each other while they register as future voters and learn more about Secretary Hillary Clinton!!!” (the author’s spelling in translation is preserved, – approx. editorial offices).

The meeting will take place at the place of the poketstop – a location on the map where bonuses for the game are stored.

Republican candidate and Clinton’s closest rival in the election race, Donald Trump, reacted to this announcement on Facebook. On the page in the social network Trump posted a video where the Secretary of State is depicted as a Pokemon, whose name is “Humpback Hillary.” The video reports that the type of this Pokemon is a “Politician”, and the next evolutionary step is “Unemployed”.

It should be noted that Russian politicians also did not leave the Pokemon Go phenomenon without attention. So, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the game is “not a reason to visit the Kremlin treasury of world culture.” And the Cossack community of St. Petersburg demanded to ban the title in Russia. With the initiative, the Cossacks decided to contact Rospotrebnadzor, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) and Apple. The main argument of the community was the concern for people. “There are so many really interesting things and professions on our land, as many interesting things can be done, so you can’t be distracted by any nonsense. Pokémon GO is a game from with elements of augmented reality. The player is invited to search, collect and train Pokemon. The title appeared in the American App Store on July 6 and on the third day of release took first place in the box office top of App Store apps in the USA. As of July 13, the game has overtaken Facebook in terms of the amount of time the average user spent in the app.
