Official data provided by GPC and , show that the total revenue of the Chinese gaming market in 2013 amounted to $13.7 billion. Of these, $1.9 billion (about 14%) brought mobile games.

According to an alternative estimate from iResearch, sales in the Chinese mobile games market reached $1.5 billion in the first nine months of 2013. Moreover, if we take into account the quarterly growth (21%), total sales in the mobile market should have brought $ 2.2 billion. This means that official analysts missed $300 million.
