The Associate Android Developer Certification initiative offers developers to confirm the initial level of the ability to develop on Android and receive a certificate confirming this skill.
To do this, you need to pass exams that last 48 hours. Developers will be tested for knowledge in the field of testing and bug finding, UI and UX development, system integration, and so on (more about the questions here).
The test will take place in five stages.
At the first stage, participants will be offered to prepare and refresh their Android knowledge. Then register and book the date of the exam, and then pass the exam itself. Then the test results will be sent to experts. The assessment will come within 45 days.
At the final stage, it will be necessary to pass an interview.
An important point is that the interview, like the entire exam, is conducted only in English. In addition, participants are asked to use the latest iteration of Android Studio. There is another limitation – age. The lower threshold is 13 years. Developers aged 13 to 17 will need to provide permission from their parents.
Let’s add that the website indicates that you will have to pay for the exam. However, the exact amount is not specified. According to some reports, the cost of the certificate will be about $ 100.
