Gameloft and GungHo Online Entertainment will start working together. On Tuesday, the two companies officially announced the creation of a strategic alliance.
As a result of the agreement, Gameloft and GungHo Online Entertainment will publish each other’s titles on the home and global markets. Also, Japanese and French companies “will help each other improve the user experience and appearance of games.” Perhaps this means that Gameloft titles will be sharpened for an Asian user, and vice versa.
Gameloft will make available to the Japanese partner some of its title titles. GungHo Online Entertainment will publish these projects on the Playphone platform. Details on this item are not specified yet.
It is already known that the first title to be released in Japan with the support of Gameloft will be Disney Magic Kingdoms.
Whether Gameloft will release GungHo projects in the Western market is unclear. Recall that the central project of the latter is the Puzzle & Dragons battler, one of the first mobile projects to earn $ 1 billion.
