The main office of one of the largest Russian developers and publishers of mobile games will soon be based in Vilnius (Lithuania), Vedomosti reports.
Alisa Chumachenko, founder and CEO of Game Insight, stated a whole range of reasons that prompted the company’s management to make this decision:
- It will be easier to travel to the European offices of Apple, Google, Facebook on business trips;
- It will also become easier for Western colleagues to get to Game Insight;
- Salaries in Vilnius, on average, are two times lower than in Moscow;
- Vilnius is a much more comfortable city for work and life than Moscow;
- The deployment in Russia greatly reduces the value of the company;
- Russia is a high risk for potential investors.
Today, about 250 people work in the main office of Game Insight. His transfer to Lithuania will take, according to Chumachenko, from one to two years. The company’s management and key managers responsible for interaction with platforms have already moved to Vilnius.
