Vlad Suglobov, the head of G5 Entertainment, in an interview with Affärsvärlden told about the situation in the company and the immediate plans. In particular, the mobile publisher is launching operations in two more countries.

As Suglobov noted during a conversation with the Swedish edition, he made this decision partly because of what is happening in Ukraine.
Now some Ukrainian employees are leaving the country. Some of them join the Maltese office of the company. G5 has also started to deploy processes in Poland and Turkey so that those who wish can move there.
Recall that the G5 headquarters is based in Sweden. In addition to Malta and Ukraine, the company also has offices in the USA and Russia.
“We will support employees wherever they are. We have assured our Ukrainian colleagues that they will not lose their jobs, and they do not have to worry about it,” Suglobov said.
Suglobov also promised that despite everything that is happening, G5 will continue to pay salaries to Ukrainian employees and will raise it later. Previously, the company provided them with two weeks of paid days off.
Separately, Suglobov mentioned that G5 received calls to remove games from the Russian market, however, the company is not going to follow them. In his opinion, instead it is better to direct the money earned in Russia to help Ukrainian employees and Ukraine as a whole.
Note that to date, gaming companies such as Bloober Team, CD Project, Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft and Rockstar have suspended their activities in Russia.
According to Suglobov, the current situation should not harm G5 revenues — at least in the short term. But it’s hard to think for a long time because of the general uncertainty and the fact that not all employees can work.
Now the company has decided to focus on the development of its largest titles (probably we are talking about Hidden City, Sherlock and the Jewels series). Suglobov hopes that if there are difficulties with the development and release of updates, then in this case they will affect only small games.
