During the first week of sales, the Detroit: Become Human adventure game, developed exclusively for PS4, surpassed any previous releases of the Quantic Dream studio in all respects.
Guillaume de Fondaumiere, executive director of Quantic Dream, wrote about this on Twitter. However, he did not provide any specific data on sales.
The studio’s previous game, Beyond: Two Souls, sold 1 million copies in the first three months since its release in 2013.
The new game cost Quantic Dream more: the development of Detroit: Become Human was estimated at € 30 million, and about € 20 million was spent on the creation of Beyond: Two Souls.
