Two weeks ago it became known that Behind Studios, the developer of Knights of Pen & Paper, launched a fundraising campaign for a new game – Chroma Squad – on Kickstarter.

The project raised the necessary $55,000, with another 15 days left. The reason for such close attention to Chroma Squad was not only the success of Knights of Pen & Paper, which was flawlessly executed in the RPG genre of the past. The new game itself promises to be interesting.

The gameplay of Chroma Squad boils down to the creation of a sentai studio, where films like “Power Rangers” (Power Rangers) will be created. The player will be able to shoot fight scenes and use impressive special effects, as well as head his own studio and direct crazy stuntmen.

Accordingly, the game will be a mix of a team strategy and a manager with a sauce of jokes and parodies. And also from the creators of Knights of Pen & Paper you can expect a lot of pleasant moments that pay tribute to the culture of the 80s and 90s.

Unfortunately, despite the fact that the release of the game on PC and Mac is scheduled for this year, mobile versions for iOS and Android will be released no earlier than the middle of next year. However, in all likelihood, Behind Studios will raise much more money than planned, and perhaps the developer will be able to get additional funds to speed up the porting process a little.
