Last week, Vampire disappeared from the Epic Games store: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 by Paragon Interactive and Oxygen Not Included by Klei Entertainment. The reason is the first really big sale, because of which the price tags for many games in the Epic Games Store decreased by 650 rubles.
From the words of Sergey Galenkin (one of the authors of the Epic Games Store), publishers could have mistakenly decided that the “mega-sale” would hit their pockets. Not all publishers were aware that Epic Games would compensate them for the difference.
A representative of 2K, the publisher of Borderlands 3, did not explain to Eurogamer why he wanted to remove the game from the store. But this is a temporary solution. The game will return to the store, and it will be possible to pre-order it again. The publication also confirmed that all players who managed to pre-order Borderlands 3 with a discount will receive it without additional payments.
Recall that even unreleased titles participate in the “megarasprodage”. Borderlands 3 will be released in September this year.
