A little earlier we told that Bethesda has released a mobile timekiller based on Fallout. In a few days since the release, the toy has soared to the top of the charts – both in downloads and at the box office. The authors of the project claim that money was the least thought of when creating it.
The game about the fun life of a post-apocalyptic shelter was released on Sunday. Now it is in first place in the Yabloko store in Russia in terms of downloads and in the twentieth in terms of revenue. For the US chart, these places are first and third, respectively.
Grossing Downloads
Todd Howard, director and executive producer of Bethesda Game Studio, said that Fallout Shelter was not made for money, but to “bring it” to the fans of the game.
“It just proves that we have smart fans. If you give them something interesting, they will most likely reward the one who did it,” Howard noted.
Let’s add that the game has been released only on iOS so far. Bethesda has announced that an Android version is in the works and will appear in the coming months.
