Prior to Zynga, Zhibo worked for Electronic Arts for 20 years, where in recent years he served as president of the company’s mobile division.
In a letter to the company’s employees, Pinkus refers to the new CEO as “an experienced manager who is able to quickly solve difficult issues that we face every week.”

Pincus himself will remain at Zynga and will take up the post of executive chairman of the board of directors.
For the first time, Pinkus left the post of CEO of the company in 2013. The reason was a sharp drop in the value of the company. The return took place in 2015.
We should add that after the first departure of Pinkus from the position, the company’s shares immediately increased by 10%. The same thing happened this time. The news about the new ceo increased the stock price by 7%.
