Another price increase. Apple has warned about plans to increase the price tags for applications in several countries at once, including Russia.
According to Apple, in the coming days, not only the apps themselves in the App Store will rise in price, but also all in-game purchases. The changes will not affect only automatically renewable subscriptions, but it is not yet known how long their price will remain the same.
The company shared an updated schedule with base prices. In Russia, the minimum price of the application will now be 99 rubles.
In addition to Russia, the price tag will also rise in Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia and South Africa. Apple explains the increase in prices in these countries for two reasons: the exchange rate and changes in tax legislation in some states.
The last time the price tag in the Russian App Store changed back in January 2016. Then the minimum base cost of the application was equal to 75 rubles.
Recall: exactly a month ago Sony also increased prices. Then games in the Russian PS Store rose in price by an average of a thousand rubles. The company justified the change in the price tag by difficult market conditions.
