This summer, Apple began removing games from the Chinese App Store that did not have permission to be published in this country. But it seems that by the end of the year the company will remove a number of applications from the store.

Information about this appeared in closed developer chats. They report that Apple has once again started sending out “letters of happiness” with a warning about upcoming mass deletions. The text of the new statements almost word for word coincides with the company’s July letters. The only exception is the date. Now the deadline for developers will come on December 31.

Apparently, initially, for some reason, Apple did not remove all unsuitable applications from the Chinese version of its store. But this time the company plans to finish the job.

Recall that Apple launched a campaign to remove games that did not pass the ratification process in July. According to Chinese media estimates, at that time about 170 thousand applications were hosted in the regional App Store, while only 20% had permission to publish.

It was assumed that Apple’s actions could lead to the disappearance of up to 120 thousand applications. However, the figures of 50-60 thousand sounded much more often. And at least 42 thousand games were indeed removed from the Chinese App Store back in early August.
