Screenshots of the new Apple Arcade subscription service have leaked to the network. Recall that this is a future new section of the App Store with premium exclusives without ads and microtransactions.

Acrade is currently being tested behind closed doors by Apple employees. As the 9to5Mac portal, which has received access to testing, suggests, the product can be launched in mid-September along with iOS 13.

  • In the screenshots, you can see that the first month in Arcade will be free. Then the user will be charged $0.49 monthly. Most likely, this is a temporary price tag only for test participants. Experts expect a subscription price in the region of $10.
  • The games are presented in the form of a panel with large icons. Next to each of them is a name and a tagline. You can download the game in one click on the “Get” button.

  • For more complete information about the game (rating, size, category), you need to scroll down the page. This part repeats the classic App Store product pages.
  • The store already has titles Down in Bermuda, Hot Lava, Way of Turtle, Kings of the Castle, etc. A number of them are still in development.

Earlier it was reported that Apple may invest $ 500 million in the development of 100 exclusive Arcade games. The service is suitable for games on iPad, iPhone, Apple TV and Mac.

Let’s add that Google has also recently launched testing of a similar subscription service. But the games in it are not exclusive.
