Mobile games developed in Turkey occupy 20 places in the top 100 most downloaded mobile games in American stores. Among them are several hyper-casual titles from Rollic and Good Job Games.
Today, more and more game studios are being founded in Turkey. This is largely due to the cheapness of the development. Local companies are focused on foreign markets, and their successes attract the attention of investors.
According to the Startups.watch report, Dream Games, which is known for the Royal Match puzzle, received the largest amount of investment among gaming startups in the first quarter of 2021. It raised $50 million, and another 15 local developers received investments totaling $60 million.
