Moscow studio PlayFlock has released a mobile version of the social hit “Indie Cat” for the VKontakte gaming platform on iOS and Android.
The project is the first port released with the support of a social network. All previous platform games (“Planet of Gems“, “Looking for a Hero“, “Badger“, “Brave Link” and “Know Our“) were originally developed for mobile devices.
The original “Indie cat” – match-3 for social networks. The number of its users in Odnoklassniki is 16 million people with a DAU of 1 million. The user base of the game in Vkontakte is also impressive – 9 million.
In this regard, we can say that the current game has some advantage over the titles that came out earlier. She will not only receive a push from placing the game in the library of the social network, but will also be able to transfer traffic from her social application to a mobile one, which, by the way, is completely synchronized with it.
Since the project is fully synchronized with the social version of the game for VKontakte, it completely repeats it in visual terms, which seriously lags behind current mobile standards. Whether this will stop the fans of the social version is difficult to say.
At the moment, the game is in third place in downloads in the category of games in the App Store, but it is not yet visible in the box office tops.
