Vektor: The Courier (not to be confused with Vector from the domestic Nekki team) is a mix of an endless runner with Road Rash (released on Sega Genesis in 1991), brilliantly stylized as “Ghost in Armor” by Mamoru Hoshii (押井 守).
The player acts as a hacker courier trying to hide from the owners of the stolen information on the bike. The user is assisted by a katana, with which he gets rid of his pursuers.
Unfortunately, apart from the excellent visual and sound stylization of the project from the Turkish developer Kagil Bektas, who was responsible for literally everything in the project (design, art, code, music), there is nothing more to boast about. This is such an honest independent product “for five minutes”. There is no monetization (banners don’t count), there are no social features at all, there are no difficult moments focused on user retention: only an endless track, neon, a distant synthesizer and an increasing number of opponents.
On the other hand, is it really necessary to do more?

Well, a little sound from the game.
