Yesterday, Creative Assembly officially announced Total War: Warhammer III. Despite the fact that the release of the game is scheduled for the end of the year, it almost immediately became the leader of sales on Steam.
Along with the release of the trailer, the game became available for pre-order on Steam and Epic Games Store. As a bonus for pre-ordering, players will receive an additional faction (which one is not specified yet).
In a matter of hours, Total War: Warhammer III took the first place in the world Sales Leaders chart and continues to hold it to this day (periodically losing to the Chinese RPG Tale of Immortal). In the Russian segment, where the game costs 3439 rubles, it occupies the second line — right after Nioh 2.
It is worth clarifying that the “Sales Leaders” chart is updated in real time and takes into account the dynamics of game revenue over a short period (the exact time frame is unknown). Based on these data, it is impossible to draw conclusions about sales, but for sure the upcoming Creative Assembly game will be at the top of the weekly Steam chart.
Total War: Warhammer III will be the final part of the trilogy of strategic games in the Warhammer universe. In the trailer, which has already gained over 1 million views, Creative Assembly showed Kislev’s battle with the forces of Chaos. Both factions will appear in the upcoming game.
