The author of the successful horror series Five Nights At Freddy’s, Scott Cawthon released the first trailer for his new game FNAF World, which is an unexpected development of the brand.

Despite the fact that the video, whose appearance we noticed just now, appeared on the eve of All Saints’ Day, it, as our colleague from PocketGamer aptly noted, turned out to be anti-Halloween.

Although Scott transferred all the animatronics from the original four parts of Five Nights At Freddy’s to FNAF World, which for some strange reason are very popular with children’s audiences, the project is distinguished by bright graphics and smiling characters.

Scott himself states that in the novelty, all the former villains who frightened and persecuted the players have become cute.

With this, at least, I would like to argue, because, despite the “colorfulness” of the new project and the fact that users will play just for animatronics, the creepiness in them has not decreased. And, it seems to us, the players are definitely not against it: in less than five days since the video was published, almost 2 million people have watched it.

According to the video, FNAF World resembles Final Fantasy of the mid-90s with crazy graphics and spells like “crush the enemy with pizzas”.

The launch of the game is scheduled for 2016.
