The Pokémon Shuffle title appeared in Western stores a week after its release on the Japanese market.
The Pokémon universe game is a shareware battler with a three-in-a-row root mechanic. Pokemon move all over the field, and the user has a very small number of moves. Therefore, we have to think about a winning combination. According to the results of the round, the player receives points. The more points – the higher the chances of catching another Pokemon.
Let’s add that Pokémon Shuffle was released on 3DS in February. By the end of June, the game had been downloaded 4.5 mn times. Shortly after the launch of the 3DS version, the owners of the franchise – The Pokemon Company – announced a mobile version. The game was first released in Japanese, and then in English.
The Pokémon Company is a division of Nintendo. It deals exclusively with the distribution of the Pokémon franchise.
