For Apple Watch smartwatches, its own version of Pokémon Go will be released. The new version of the game was presented at the presentation of the iPhone 7 by the developer Niantic Labs.
The Apple Watch version of Pokémon Go is a companion app, not an independent game. The application will count the distances traveled, show Pokemon nearby, as well as poketstops.
As part of the announcement, studio CEO John Hanke also announced that the total downloads of the game amounted to 500 million. This is in less than three months.
There will be a game this year.
