Yesterday, November 11, the worldwide launch of the mobile version of Candy Crush Soda Saga took place on iOS and Android platforms.
The game has been in softlanche since June. And she even managed to get caught up in a small scandal (one of the King developers wrote a big positive review on Google Play, for which he was ridiculed by the gaming community).
Its indicators according to its results are good. After a number of iterations, the project indicators went steadily up.
Indicators of Candy Crush Soda Saga at the stage of soft launch in Spain, Sweden and Canada (top free downloads, Google Play, overall)To be more specific, then, apparently, the game update from September 16 was decisive.
Before him, the performance of the game was constantly falling.
Indicators of Candy Crush Soda Saga at the stage of soft launch in Spain, Sweden and Canada (box office top, Google Play, overall)As for the Candy Crush Soda Saga itself, it differs significantly from the original, and indeed from the usual “three-in-a-row”.
However, this applies not only to the basic game mechanics (we still match from three or more candies) or monetization, and, let’s say, the playing field.
Physics has appeared in the game, which determines how and from where new candies will appear on the field instead of collected ones. Some of the levels are built on this. It is necessary, for example, to raise a candy bear above a certain mark. This can be done only by increasing the level of soda at the level. Those candies that are not filled with soda come from above, those that are already “in soda” – from below.
But, of course, physics does not come down to soda. For example, at the beautiful 16th level, all the “chips” go from below in a circle strictly along their paths.
Plus, Candy Crush Soda Saga has become, in our opinion, more complicated. And this also distinguishes it from similar products. The first difficulties can be found already in the top ten levels.
