There are lines that have managed to become their own on the mobile market, which were hits on the App Store when the store was not as big as it is today. There are three such Tower Defense games on the mobile market – Sentinel, Anomaly and Kingdom Rush.
The first one just got the fourth part yesterday. Sentinel 4: Dark Star can be downloaded right now from the App Store for 169 rubles. The problem is that it is quite difficult for a non-fan of the series to distinguish the fourth part from the third, second or first, released in 2009.
Anomaly, at the peak of Sentinel, has always surprised with graphics. And last year, she deservedly claimed the title of one of the most beautiful mobile games of the year, delighting with a picture that seemed to come out of Emmerich’s films. From the point of view of gameplay, the series is an inverse defense. The goal is not to block the offensive, but, on the contrary, to pass through all obstacles.
Kingdom Rush, which migrated from flash to mobile devices in 2011, closes the top three. A distinctive feature of the series is that some of the towers do not just shoot at the hordes of the enemy, but bring troops to the road, which are designed to hold the offensive.
